GlasticShield™ - Ballistic Armor Panels

Röchling Glastic Composites (RGC), a leading manufacturer of thermoset sheets, shapes, and custom pultrusion since 1946, has announced the release of GlasticShield™ Anti-Ballistic Panel, the latest in a long line of innovative products introduced by the Ohio based company.
GlasticShield™ was developed by the engineering team at Röchling in conjunction with raw material suppliers as a light weight, easy to machine fiberglass sheet making it ideal for a wide range of applications in both the commercial and military markets. The product is pressed using a proprietary resin developed at their laboratories in Cleveland. GlasticShield™ is rated by Underwriters Laboratory to UL-752 Level III.

GlasticShield’s™ opaque, light-weight design make it ideal for typical anti-ballistic uses including government buildings, drive-up bank tellers, ATM’s, guard booths, safe rooms and many others. RGC’s ability to both press and pultrude provides them with versatility to design various shapes and sizes to fill a variety of needs.
